Lending platform LendInvest has begun trading on the London Stock Exchange’s Alternative Investment Market (AIM).

The company’s valuation has been reported at around £255mn.
It offers an asset management platform for borrowers, investors and intermediaries.
Since 2008 LendInvest has lent more than £3bn in mortgages.
What does this mean?
CEO Rod Lockhart said that the IPO “marks a significant milestone in LendInvest’s history, and is the culmination of years of hard work at the hands of our team”. He added it’s “just the beginning” for the business.
