KodyPay, a payments platform for retailers, has appointed a new Chief Operating Officer.
In Brief:
Sophie Haagensen joins the firm from Atom Bank.
She was Head of Strategy and Planning and supported the digital bank from its launch.
KodyPay was launched in 2018 and has expanded across 15 cities in the UK to offer hardwareless payments.
What does this mean?
Haagensen says its an “exciting time of rapid growth” for KodyPay right now. “In-person payments continue to lag online payments for speed and convenience, and I believe KodyPay has the vision and the execution capability to change this.”
Meanwhile, CEO Yoyo Chang, who Co-Founded the business as a high school student, says that Haagensen’s experience in scaling products will be “instrumental”.
