The UK receives second most investment globally, but total investment falls
IN BRIEF:
Across 199 deals, a total of £2.3bn was invested in UK fintechs in the first half of 2023
This represents a drop of 37% when compared to the second half of 2022
London was found to be the location where the vast majority of fintech funding was placed, attaining 91% of all UK fintech funding
