ING partners with Tradeteq

Global bank ING Group has partnered with Tradeteq for commodity trade finance.

In Brief:

  • ING will distribute Tradeteq’s commodity trade finance exposures to non-bank institutional investors.

  • Tradeteq operates the trade finance industry’s first electronic platform.

  • The platform allows banks to package their exposures into standardised, investable notes for non-bank investors.

What does this mean?

ING’s bank and non-bank institutions have all joined the Tradeteq platform to begin trading. The end to end solution will provide for portfolio management and trading automation, risk analytics and securitisation-as-a-service.
