Digital identity company IDNow has acquired Wirecard’s Communication Services unit.

IDNow will retail the majority of Wirecard CS’s 150 staff.

It will also remain in its Leipzig location.
What does this mean?
IDNow has worked with Wirecard Communication Services for many years, and will now integrate it into the IDNow Group. It hopes to enhance its suite of digital verification tools as Covid-19 has forced the process increasingly online.
