Payment and subscription business GoCardless has acquired Nordigen.

Nordigen is an open banking data provider.
GoCardless will use its technology in-house to offer open banking connectivity at scale.
This will enable “self-serve access” to account information services.
What does this mean?
GoCardless now has coverage of more than 2,300 banks in 31 countries in its account-to-account network. It aims to build on its open banking strategy by offering premium data products across multiple marketplaces.
