German P2P lender auxmoney raises €150mn  

auxmoney, a peer-to-peer lending marketplace, has raised €150mn growth capital.  

In Brief:  

  • The investment round was led by Centerbridge Partners.  

  • Centerbridge has gained the majority stake by also acquiring shares from other investors.  

  • auxmoney says it is the largest credit marketplace in the Eurozone.  

What does this mean?  

auxmoney has seen significant growth over the past few years and Centerbridge says the company has “immense growth potential”. auxmoney believes that with Centerbridge’s support it can gain more institutional investors, and that the investment shows confidence in the business model.
