Wise (formerly TransferWise) has added David Wells as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Wells was at Netflix for 14 years and was CFO from 2010-2019.
He has acted as an independent director for Wise since 2019.
This is part of a move by Wise to add more independent directors to its board, as founding member Taavet Hinrikus steps down.
