UK paytech Form3 has announced that CEO Michael Mueller will be stepping down from his role, passing over the responsibilities to Mike Walters.
In brief:
-Walters is one of the first employees and co-founder of Form3, and served as chief product officer (CPO) for the start-up since its inception in 2016
-Form3’s chief operating officer (COO) since inception Eimear O’Connor will take over from Walters as CPO.
-The changes follow Form3’s recent appointment of former NatWest executive Matt Tuck as its new chief commercial officer (CCO) in September, as well as an undisclosed investment from Visa as part of a new commercial partnership.
What does this mean?
Mueller will be taking over as executive chairman of Form3 from co-founder Tom Kozlowski. As chairman, Mueller says he will ensure “that we are adjusting the governance of the business to the requirements and challenges of the next stage of our evolution – with significant responsibility for payment processing at scale in all our key markets”.
