FinTech Scotland has announced Nicola Anderson as its new CEO this week.

Anderson was previously on secondment from the FCA, and has been interim CEO at FinTech Scotland for a few months.

The FinTech cluster leadership body is also celebrating its third birthday.
What does this mean?
As CEO Nicola Anderson brings experience in regulation from the FCA, as well as having worked on customer experience and operational change at organisations large and small. FinTech Scotland grew by 31 companies this year and now encompasses 150 firms.
Anderson commented: “I’m absolutely delighted to be appointed into this role and for the opportunity to further the great work already achieved by FinTech Scotland. Joining the team has reinforced my passion for entrepreneurial innovation and how it can benefit citizens and the economy. I’m very much looking forward to championing the fintech community and cluster through innovation, collaboration and inclusiveness.”
