Fintech NI (Northern Ireland) has named Chris Jessup as its new Chair.

FinTech NI is the not-for-profit industry association representing around 75 FinTech companies in Northern Ireland.
Jessup is a partner at A&L Goodbody and will chair the organisation for three years.
He takes on the role from Northern Ireland FinTech Envoy Andrew Jenkins.
What does this mean?
Jessup is tasked with representing the FinTech sector in Northern Ireland which represents a workforce of about 7000. His key focuses will be supporting smaller businesses, building a pipeline of talent and encouraging businesses to scale.
