FinTech Alliance companies among LinkedIn’s ‘hottest’ startups

LinkedIn has released its annual Top Startups list for 2019, naming the ’25 hottest companies where UK professionals want to work now’.

In Brief:

  • Two FinTech Alliance companies, Revolut and Thought Machine, have come 2nd and 15th respectively.

  • Revolut, a popular challenger bank set to expand across the US, was noted for its fast expansion as it adds 18,000 new accounts per day.

  • Thought Machine, which aims to overhaul core banking software so financial institutions can prepare for the future of FinTech, was noted for scaling its sales and marketing team – LinkedIn encourages people to attend the company’s open evenings.

What does this mean?

FinTech is where it’s at according to the largest professional network in the world, with LinkedIn choosing 13 FinTech companies for its top 25 places to work.
