Crypto.com to be official partner of 2022 World Cup

Cryptocurrency business Crypto.com is a key sponsor for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

In Brief: 

It will be the exclusive cryptocurrency trading platform for the World Cup. 

Crypto.com, which already has more than 10mn customers, aims to drive further awareness of the business across the world. 

No value has been revealed for the sponsorship deal. 

What does this mean? 

Crypto.com already has deals with major sporting tournaments across the world, and now its branding will be within and outside the tournament’s stadium as well as digitally. Crypto.com users will be able to attend matches and win merchandise.
