Dutch banks have raised limits so customers can make more contactless payments instore.
The cumulative limit for contactless transactions has been raised from €50 to €100.
Payment cards no longer have to be inserted as regularly.
The Dutch Food Retail Association is asking people to opt for contactless wherever possible.
What does this mean?
The WHO has encouraged people to use cashless transactions as much as possible and contactless is the easiest way to do this, especially for elderly people.
