Policy group was previously known as the Coalition for a Digital Economy
IN BRIEF:
- Announced at an event last night with Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden, Lynn and the Startup Coalition’s executive director Dom Hallas revealed the new name
- Startup Coalition also published its latest report outlining the Top 50 Startup Constituencies in the UK
- Outside of London, Manchester Central (252 tech startups) and Cambridge (245 startups) made the top ten
What does this mean?
“The data shows what people in the startup ecosystem already know - the tech startup economy that has started and thrived in London is now increasingly in every part of the United Kingdom,” said Hallas on the report. “We’re pleased to be able to work with companies up and down the country to work to improve policy and ensure founders get what they need to build even more.”
