Europe-born payments FinTech Adyen has partnered with Cash App to offer Cash App Pay.

In Brief: 

Cash App, part of Block (formerly Square)’s offering, is a mobile-to-mobile payment service currently available in the US and UK. 

Adyen provides payment processing for companies that can be integrated into their platforms such as ecommerce and physical POS systems. 

Now, businesses that use Adyen will have access to Cash App Pay as an integrated tool for their US customers to make payments.

What does this mean? 

Adyen customers can now add another string to their bow by giving their consumers another choice of payment method. In the US, Cash App is a popular means of transferring money especially among the Millennial and Gen Z markets.
