Crowdcube partners with £100mn VC fund for FinTech focus

Crowdcube has partnered with Episode 1, a London-based VC fund.

In Brief:

  • Crowdcube and Episode 1 will back FinTechs.

  • They’ll have a particular focus on infrastructure and deep tech startups.

  • Episode 1 will review pitches from firms and then their campaign will be launched on Crowdcube.

What does this mean?

The organisations hope to help FinTechs to raise between £250,000 - £3mn. Episode 1 hopes that the partnership will help them cater for B2B businesses which are more specialist and often don’t get as much coverage in the crowdfunding world as B2C.
