South African FinTech Jumo raised $55mn from a diverse group of investors.
This included new and existing investors such as Goldman Sachs, Odey Asset Management and LeapFrog Investments.
The startup was founded in 2015 and is based in Cape Town.
It focuses on products for emerging markets.
What does this mean?
The funding closely follows a $50mn round in 2018 which also included Goldman Sachs. For its partners within emerging markets, it offers a full tech stack to build savings, lending and insurance products.
