Cryptocurrency application tap has gained a distributed ledger technology licence.
Tap describes itself as the “world’s first” truly unified banking app.
Having gained the licence it can now go fully live with its mass roll out.
The app was made available on Google Pay and the Apple app store at the end of 2019.
What does this mean?
The app brings together many services including cryptocurrency exchange and safe crypto storage. There is also a Mastercard payment card available. Tap hopes to stand out by offering lots of features that boost convenience for the user, such as allowing global travel without banking charges.
