Mastercard has announced it will more than treble its workforce in its European hub.
- The payments giant will hire about 1,200 staff at its Dublin HQ.
- It currently has about 500 employees in Ireland.
- It’s expected that three buildings in Leopardstown will be leased to create a campus environment.
What does this mean?
The expansion will be announced officially today (Monday) by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar and two senior Mastercard executives. The company has praised Ireland’s “vibrant culture” and says it is the perfect place to recruit for highly skilled roles.
