New research reveals the average UK consumer has 2.8 FinTech apps installed on their phone.
In Brief:
Plaid and The Harris Poll have surveyed 4000 adults in the UK and the US.
79% of people say they use FinTech apps for banking or payments.
In Britain, consumers plan to increase the number of FinTech apps they have installed to 3.5 over the next six months.
What does this mean?
The research comes following a huge uptick in use of digital solutions across the board as a result of Covid-19, especially when it comes to e-commerce, payments and banking.
Plaid has found out just how popular FinTech apps now are among the average consumer, and has also found that 76% of British people feel confident using open banking technology.
