A public information campaign has been launched to help businesses and the general public prepare for Brexit.
In Brief:
-
The campaign, reportedly worth £100mn, is said to be the biggest since the Second World War.
-
42% of UK SMEs are reportedly unsure how to get ready for Brexit.
-
Just 31% of the British public have looked for information on how to prepare for Brexit.
What does this mean?
While preparations had been well underway for a March exit from the EU, businesses and consumers alike are showing signs of fatigue, with only 50% convinced we’ll actually leave on 31 October – so the government hopes to prompt preparations through a variety of media.
