Question: What advice would you give women who want to work in FinTech?

Pamela Mead, SumUp: “Stay authentic, passionate, and believe in yourself. Build a network of trusted colleagues – men and women – who will give support, feedback, perspective and inspiration.” 

Lili Metodieva, Monneo: “Always look to make your own decisions and take real ownership of your growth and development journey… give yourself an opportunity to take a step back from time to time, to review all the hard work you’ve put in.” 

Priya Guliani, Government Blockchain Association: “Seek advice from mentors and surround yourself with powerful women who can help you navigate treacherous waters. The best mentors are forthcoming about the struggles they’ve gone through and the mistakes they’ve made in their careers; they have some helpful stories or advice for dealing with what you’re feeling or going through.”
