Wise offers new currencies for B2B transfers to China

Wise, formerly TransferWise, has launched business transfers to China in eight currencies.

In Brief:

These include USD, GBP, AUD, JPY, SGD, CAD and HKD.

Wise Business customers can send money to pay directly in Chinese Yuan.

The plan is to add more currencies in the near future.

What does this mean?

Wise Business customers could already send money to businesses in China but had to do this through USD – they can now convert to the local currency enabling price transparency.
