FinTech Alliance company Wealthify has added two new senior hires from Virgin Money and Barclays.
In Brief:
Michelle McGrade, previously Chief Investment Officer at Virgin Money, joints its investment committee.
Akshaya Bhargava, formerly global CEO of Wealth and Investments within Barclays, joins the board as a non-executive director.
These new appointments come after Wealthify was bought by Aviva last year.
What does this mean?
Chairman Ben Luckett, who was appointed as part of the Aviva deal, said that both hires’ experience and expertise would be a “boost” on Wealthify’s journey.
“Their appointment comes at a really exciting time for the brand, as we seek to drive accelerated growth and make investment opportunities available to many more people in the UK with our promise to inspire anyone to build their future wealth.”
