Visa to enable biometric payments for World Cup

Payments giant Visa is the official payment technology provider for Fifa.

5300 contactless payment terminals have been installed at official World Cup venues.

What does this mean?

For Visa, this is a way to tap into an already existing community, bolster it through an animated card, and enable football fans to try out its technology and become more familiar with aspects like facial recognition.
