Visa has invested in Deserve, a credit card technology business.
In Brief:
Deserve offers credit-card-as-a-service solutions for financial institutions, FinTechs and brands.
It was already a partner of the Visa Fintech Fast Track programme.
The business offers white-labelled mobile-centric API and SDK technology.
What does this mean?
Mastercard has also previously invested in the business, which hopes to “transform” credit cards into software solutions that can exist on a mobile device.
