Thredd has appointed Edwin Poot as its new global chief technology officer (CTO) as it seeks to further its product development and global expansion.
In brief:
- The UK-based paytech asserts that Poot will be responsible for delivering its payment offerings and bringing its “geographic expansion plans to life”.
- The new global CTO’s remit will contain every facet of Thredd’s technological strategy, including compliance, innovation and infrastructure, security and platform development.
- Poot has previously served as VP of product for Nubank, strategic advisor for Paxos, and most recently, as chief product and technology officer for the online consumer marketplace, Dayrize.
