UK FinTech Week kicks off despite lockdown

UK FinTech Week began on Tuesday with a new digital programme of events.

In Brief:

  • The celebration of UK FinTech has been extended to last almost three weeks.

  • What was a physical series of events now consists of online panels and webinars.

  • Many of the topics have been amended to reflect what FinTechs need to know amid a global crisis.

What does this mean?

Attendees will still have the chance to hear from industry leaders on topics such as open finance, the impact of Covid-19 and how to make finance accessible for SMEs. Many organisations were planning to host events during the week and have now moved these online.
