Trustly expands into Australia and Canada  

Online banking payments business Trustly has launched in two new markets.  

In Brief:  

• Trustly is a Swedish payment platform which launched in 2008.  

• It allows users to pay online directly from their bank account.  

• It is now operational in Europe, the US, Canada and Australia, with staff in Latin America.  

What does this mean?  

The FinTech says opening in these markets is a “major milestone” as it seeks to build an open banking network across the world.
