Thunes has announced a Series C extension with participation from Visa, a world leader in global payments, Singapore-based global investor EDBI and San Francisco-based fund Endeavor Catalyst.

-This brings total funding for the Series C round to $72m and total funding raised by Thunes to $200m+
-Thunes already has an ongoing global partnership with Visa. In October 2022, Visa and Thunes announced a strategic collaboration to extend Visa Direct’s reach to 1.5 billion digital wallets.
-Its Series C funding round will support its mission to address the inefficiencies of moving money internationally and create a next-generation payment system that is secure, instant and transparent.
