The Entrepreneurs Network and Coadec have launched a startup manifesto to boost entrepreneurship.
In Brief:
-
The manifesto is backed by founders from Transferwise, LendInvest and YO!Sushi
-
It’s been signed by over 250 UK entrepreneurs.
-
Main issues are access to talent, tax incentives, capital and simple regulations.
What does this mean?
The manifesto hopes to make it easier to start a business in the UK – this will be especially important for FinTechs which make up an increasing proportion of tech startups. In regards to talent, it’s calling for a reform of the visa system so that top skills can be attracted to UK businesses from around the world.
