Starling Bank, Monzo and Triodos have come top in Which?’s latest customer satisfaction survey.
In Brief:
The three challenger banks were ranked highly for customer service and mobile apps.
Starling got five stars for customer service and mobile app, with an 85% overall satisfaction score.
They were also followed by First Direct, Revolut and Metro Bank.
What does this mean?
The survey results went on to say that traditional retail banks scored far lower for customer satisfaction.
Jenny Ross, Which? money editor, commented: “While many current account holders stick with their banks over many years, we found leading challenger banks are ahead of the traditional high street names in terms of customer satisfaction.
“Our research shows a clear gap between the best and worst providers and this should encourage customers unhappy with their service to switch banks, as it’s never been easier.”
