UK high street bank TSB has appointed Sailesh Panchal as its new chief technology officer (CTO).

-Confirming his appointment in a recent LinkedIn post, Panchal says he will be tasked with overseeing the bank’s data and payments functions, working with chief information officer (CIO), Cheryl McCuaig.

-He also says he will seek to ensure optimum governance and compliance for the bank, with a particular focus on payments, open banking and data governance.

-He will leverage decades of industry experience to achieve these goals.
