UK FinTech Revolut is preparing to bring its offering to the Brazilian market.
In Brief:
Glauber Mota has been appointed CEO of Revolut Brazil.
There is currently a waiting list in Brazil for people to access Revolut cards.
The business will launch with cards and then add other parts of its offering such as investing.
What does this mean?
Mota says that Brazil is “one of the most active digital population worldwide” and the number of people using their digital bank as their main account is on the rise. He says there is an opportunity to improve options for Brazilians especially around ecommerce and foreign exchange.
