FinTech giant Revolut has passed the one million customers milestone as it launches new products in Ireland.
In Brief:
-
This means around a quarter of the adult population has Revolut.
-
The challenger bank has 10mn customers across 36 countries.
-
Today it has launched Revolut Junior for Premium and Metal customers in Ireland.
What does this mean?
This is significant uptake since Revolut’s launch in Ireland just six months ago. In February, it announced it was making Ireland and Lithuania its payments hubs for Europe.
The Junior product is aimed at children aged seven to 17 and will help teach them how to manage money, and can grow into a standard account. It will launch across Europe in the future.
