Revolut is enabling its Australian users to trade fractional shares in the US.
In Brief:
Customers will be able to buy and sell shares listed on the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq through the Revolut app.
They’ll be able to start at US$1.
Stocks include Amazon, Tesla, Coca-Cola and Netflix.
What does this mean?
Customers will be able to use their existing Revolut app to trade and will get real-time market data, stock charts and price alerts through the platform. The FinTech has also added a social element where people can show their portfolio to their contacts.
