Revolut has announced that Sid Jajodia has been appointed US CEO.
In Brief:
Until now, Jajodia was Chief Banking Officer at the FinTech challenger.
He will now oversee Revolut’s expansion into the US market.
Since launching in the market in March 2020 the business now has around half a million active users.
What does this mean?
Revolut has already added a general manager and head of growth earlier this year, among 150 employees which show the company is taking US expansion seriously. The US is notoriously a hard nut for UK FinTechs to crack, but Jajodia says the market is a key priority since so many customers don’t yet have access to the range of services Revolut can offer all in one place.
