Revolut will continue partnering with Modulr to use its payments infrastructure.
In Brief:
-
Modulr currently powers Revolut’s UK financial services and current accounts.
-
Revolut has chosed Modulr because of the technology’s flexibility, resilience and scalability.
-
The two businesses have worked together since 2017.
What does this mean?
The companies have said they have “exciting new projects in the pipeline” as they extend their partnership. A recent development has been the use of Modulr’s Direct Debits mandate to allow customers in the EEA with a UK account to make all their GBP direct debits through Revolut. The challenger bank has “several” more releases planned this year.
