Revolut has increased its offering for the US-Mexico remittance market.
In Brief:
It launched remittances between the two countries in July last year.
Then, it announced 10 fee-free transfers from the US to Mexico per month.
Now, Revolut has announced it’s offering the service fee-free in up to 30 minutes.
What does this mean?
Revolut has pointed out that the US-Mexico remittances market exceeded $45bn in 2021 but was still slow and expensive. The company is aiming to make the service faster and more cost effective to benefit families on both sides of the border.
