FinTech Plaid has announced the first cohort of startups for its FinRise accelerator.

FinRise is an equity and capital free programme.
It supports founders who are Black, Indigenous or People of Colour.
It’s chosen five early-stage startups from 100 applications.
What does this mean?
The programme, announced at the beginning of the year, was launched to focus on founders who are underrepresented founders in tech.
The cohort includes Global Data Consortium, Guidefi, OfColor, Walnut and Zeta.
