Volt, a UK FinTech that builds infrastructure for global payments, has raised £17mn in its Series A round.
In Brief:
Volt was founded in 2019 and offers open banking payments access to 5000 banks in Europe.
The round was led by EQT Ventures.
Augmentum Fintech and Fuel Ventures also took part, alongside angel investors.
What does this mean?
Volt says it will use the funding to accelerate product development, as well as expanding internationally.
