Hong Kong FinTech startup Oriente has raised $50mn funding.

This was a Series B round, led by Peter Lee of Henderson Land.
Other investors included Wix.com.
Oriente launched in 2019 and develops technology infrastructure for financial services.
What does this mean?
Oriente focuses on markets that are underserved by traditional financial institutions – the funding will be used to expand within its current markets, the Philippines and Indonesia, as well as expanding into new countries like Vietnam. It will also keep developing technology.
