OakNorth expands in Manchester, to take on 60 staff

British FinTech OakNorth has opened up a Manchester base.

In Brief:

• This comes after news the firm has put together a dedicated team for SME lending in the north of England.

• The new space is 3,200 sq ft, sufficient for 60 people.

• So far, the FinTech has lent almost £4bn to date.

What does this mean?

Lending to SMEs key priority in UK at the moment, and OakNorth has continued to grow with little worry of defaults at a time of economic uncertainty for the nation.
