RBS has launched new challengers under NatWest’s banking license to rival the likes of Monzo and Starling.

In Brief:

• Mettle is a business account with a black card.

•  Bó is a product focused on youth which has a yellow card.

• The youth product has its own CEO.

What does this mean?

With banks losing business accounts and the millennial/Gen Z market to shiny new players such as Revolut, the time is ripe for RBS to create specific offerings to retain and attract customers.
