The talks were reported by the Financial Times and it’s suggested a deal will be struck this year.
So far, Monese has around 2mn people signed up and more than 9,000 people join every day.
Monese is a UK-based FinTech but is beginning to see success across Europe, so the funding could potentially help the business scale through the region.
