London has been named the top hub globally for FinTech by the 2022 Global Startup Ecosystem Report.

London has also been named the second-best tech startup hub in the world after Silicon Valley.
The city’s startup ecosystem has been valued at $314bn.
In addition, top emerging global ecosystems included UK cities Bristol, Birmingham and Belfast.
What does this mean?
London ranked among the highest for access to early-stage funding, as well as “connectedness” - the measure of how easily a startup can increase global reach. However, the economic impact of the ecosystem lagged behind New York.
