Trade body Innovate Finance has launched the International FinTech Group to promote UK FinTech globally.
In Brief:
The aim of the group is to “strengthen the UK’s standing as a global leader in the sector”.
The Group will convene throughout a year to increase collaboration across the sector.
It will be co-chaired by the Department for International Trade (DIT).
What does this mean?
The Group aims to deliver initiatives to promote the UK FinTech sector in key international markets. It will expand on DIT’s “Made in Britain” campaign with a specific FinTech focus as well as involving FinTechs in calls-for-input and consultations.
