The FinTechs taking part in FinTech Wales’ 2022 accelerator programme have been announced.
In Brief:
Nine FinTechs have been accepted into the 2022 FinTech Wales Foundry Accelerator.
They include two Welsh businesses, five from the wider UK, one from Portugal and one from Poland.
The 12-week, no equity programme aims to help businesses “validate, raise and scale”.
What does this mean?
The accelerator will have a hybrid format this year. In 2021, the cohort raised more than £9mn in investment and created over 20 jobs. The team at FinTech Wales hope this programme will provide a good “blueprint” for other clusters across the UK.
