Tweeq, a FinTech in Saudi Arabia, has received an e-money licence from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA).
In Brief:
Tweeq is partnered with both Mastercard and UK FinTech Paymentology.
It therefore has access to digital payment solutions through infrastructure like APIs.
It will now launch a mobile-first app aimed at Millennials and Gen Z.
What does this mean?
The FInTech says it aims to play a key role in the Saudi Government’s aim to develop its financial technology sector, while Paymentology CEO Rowan Brewer said they’re delighted to support the “milestone” amid this “digital revolution”.
